Nothing better says "My way" than a room decorated your style!

IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE SUMMER TO ALWAYS                                        FEEL IN THE BEACH

Ever wished it could be summer forever? It's something everybody wishes but its impossible or is it?

D.I.Y Ideas and cheap items you can use to decorate that special place we call bedroom into a beach environment.

                                                                   D.I.Y
To create this little detail I traced the stars in cardboard, then I added colors that would
fit a beach scenario or simply the kind of colors that I like (you can use any colors) and to put them in the wall I used double sided tape that can be found in your local arts and crafts store.  (I used acrylic paint "Laguna blue" and "Plaid" colors)

I also added "beach time" using letters printed from Google.

I had an old box laying around that I did not like anymore, so I decided to use creativity and transform it into something useful for my beach-themed room.
My friend had brought me from a nearby beach some really cool shells as a souvenir,
so I decided to use them for my room decoration; all you need is a hot glue gun and creativity  to put something epic together. (It looks old and I decided to leave it like that so it gives the impression of something rustic)

I found this lamp at a gift store in sale for $12 dollars! but you can always take a regular lamp and decorate it with shells around it or use your imagination to improvise. I also added a small furniture piece that I found at an antique store, but you can always find them anywhere even at yard sales.

This picture frame is a little challenging to make but it is possible and any picture frame can be used, I used a sander to give the rustic effect that I wanted, I gathered little rocks and used some thick thread to add the hammock effect. (It was supposed to be a world travel picture frame but I gave it a little twist)

I found this beautiful art piece at Target and I decided to buy it because It obviously matches the beach atmosphere. Its made from sand and beautiful colors that just compliment a room. It only costed me $7.99 dollars because it was on sale!

Going back to D.I.Y, I made a wall decoration using the back of a picture frame (is not done but I am on the process)

This is the original front and you can use any picture frame and decorate it your way

I also decorated my closet doors using blue paper and cutting it in a certain pattern, you can find these patterns at Michael's or make them with blue or any kind of color of paper you want.

I found this towel at walmart for $1.78 and I used it to cover my printer so It gives the environment  I am looking for. You can use it as a doorstep for your room or simply place it where It would look best.

If you are a girl you can use this (boys would think is overboard for them). I'ts a cute teddy bear    dressed in a pretty pink dress that I found in an antique store for $10 dollars. It makes an
adorable piece anywhere in your room and it has the beach signature we are looking for.

Thank you for viewing and stay tuned for more ideas and   information.
                       Happy decorating!
